Paintable wall liner is a bridging material made of strong polyester fabric. It bridges most grooved paneling, concrete block, and badly cracked plaster. Just adhere paintable wall liner to problem wall with pre-mixed adhesive.
To apply: We recommend pre-mixed vinyl adhesive for this product. Cut material, paste, and hang one strip at a time. Apply adhesive with brush or roller starting from the center. Cover back of material completely, especially at edges. Cut strips approximately 2: longer than distance from ceiling to baseboard, or we recommend this product be railroaded, however it is not absolutely necessary.
Hang one strip at a time. Using a smoothing brush or household squeegee, make sure that all air bubbles are removed and good contact is made with wall surface. Avoid undue pressure to maintain proper bridging over surface applied and to minimize loss of adhesive at butted seams. During application avoid pressing the material into the joints, grooves, seams, or cracks of the wall surface. Place edge of each succeeding strip to edge of strip last on wall. DO NOT OVERLAP. All seams should be butted.
NOTE: Paintable wall liner is a lining material designed to bridge most mortar joints and panel grooves and is suitable for applying wallcovering. For specific instructions for applying over block wall, paneling, or metal surfaces, refer to hanging instructions in roll. IF SURFACE FOR APPLICATION OF NU-WALL IS QUESTIONABLE, WE RECOMMEND IT FIRST BE APPLIED TO A SMALL TEST AREA.
